Hello, my name is Elaine, and I am the Centre Director for The Learning Experience East Finchley. I have worked in the early year’s profession for some years now and have several years within a leadership role. My focus is to drive quality through the team to ensure they feel supported and provide the best possible experiences for our little learners.

As the Deputy, my main duties and responsibilities are for the younger age groups of East Finchley, from our Infants transitioning from home to centre to the first time right up through our Toddlers and Twaddlers. I lead these teams to provide and inspire high quality care and education environments using our proprietary curriculum and enrichment resources.

As a Deputy Manager, I support the Room Leaders and Senior Nursery Practitioners. I work closely with the team to ensure we are providing exciting and inspiring opportunities for our children to grow and develop whilst in our care. I support the team in all elements of their day.

I am currently training for my L3 qualification whilst working with the Toddler age group, sensory opportunities are an exciting part of my day as it is wonderful to watch and explore the reactions with the children.
